A traditional Indian Bollywood dance is the tangka or tangkameez, which was originated in the land of Goa. There are several versions of this dance but it has evolved through the years. The tangkameez is made from three pieces, the choli, a skirt and a top. This is mostly worn by men in Goa and it is called as tangkameez-o-danda in Hindi. It is the most popular type of dance that one can see today in the state of Goa. The tangkasnet dance form came from the North Indian regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is similar to the raksha bandhan in its basic structure and execution. It also incorporates elements of the vogue that are seen in the Indian music industry.
