Denali Venture Philanthropy: Giving Back and Giving Excitement

Denali Venture Philanthropy is a nonprofit membership organization that encourages active participation by its members in the adventure and recreational activities of Denali National Park. The area is one of the last remaining old-growth wilderness areas in Alaska. It is a venue for hiking, camping, mountain biking, fishing, snowmobiling, mountaineering, scuba diving, geocaching, and other outdoor pursuits. Denali Venture Philanthropy has grown over the years into a huge network of supporters and volunteers. One of these is the Denali Experience, which takes mountain climbers to the top of Mount McKinley for an amazing aerial view of the mountains and the Alaska wilderness. It also allows participants to experience the thrill of a helicopter flight and aerial tramway. Another fun activity organized by the Denali Venture Philanthropy is the Denali Freeze Dance.
