The Joker Game

Joker Game is an anime and live-action film series based on the novel of the same name by Koji Yanagi. The original Japanese adaptation of the book was released in 2010 with the same title. It was adapted from a manga by Masashi Kishimoto and aired in April to June 2016. The second installment was titled Doublejoker and has four stories. The storyline is very similar to that of the live-action film.

The Joker Game was produced by Production I.G, the studio behind the popular volleyball series, Psycho-Pass, and Kuroko's Basketball. The anime ran from April 5 to June 21, 2016, and consisted of twelve episodes. There was also a two-part special that aired following the anime. The following year, a second anime adaptation of the game was released. The anime version is called Joker: Spy Mystery. It will consist of 12 episodes.
